700 km of Hiking Trails
“Wilder Kaiser” area is the first Alpine region to be awarded the Austrian “Walking Quality Label”. This means that all villages, services and trails have been inspected and certified. Our area with more than 700 kilometres of trails is one of the most beautiful destinations for walking holidays in the Alps. The Kaiserlodge Hotel is an ideal starting point for the exploration of the “Kaisergebirge” Nature Reserve.
In Harmony with Nature
Enjoy the natural scenery, clear your mind, leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and soak up unforgettable views. Set off on a walk with plenty of panoramic views, for example along “Energiewegrunde” trail or the “Sunrise Walk”.
Family and Adventure Walks
The walks will take you along narrow footpaths, over bridges and past waterfalls, giant trees, roaring torrents and other nature attractions.
Playgrounds and spectacular natural sites guarantee an enjoyable day out for walkers of all ages.

Enjoy moderately difficult hikes in the mountains or challenging climbs to the summits. You can climb to the highest peaks of “Kaisergebirge” mountain range taking a self-guided tour or accompanied by our expert mountain guides. Once reaching the summit, you will be rewarded by spectacular views over the “Inntal” Valley and the mountains of the “Kitzbühler Alps” as far as to the Bavarian Alps.
