The Kaiserlodge nestles amid the beautiful mountain scenery of the Tyrolean Alps on the south-western slopes of “Wilder Kaiser” mountain range. In the surroundings, you can enjoy leisurely walks with the family or set off on a challenging climb to a summit. Our experienced guides will be delighted to accompany you for a walk to discover local herbs. “Wilder Kaiser” holiday region provides walking routes to suit both ambitious ramblers and nature lovers, including easy strolls, day walks and multi-day mountain tours. Hello, Wanderlust!

700 km of Hiking Trails

“Wilder Kaiser” area is the first Alpine region to be awarded the Austrian “Walking Quality Label”. This means that all villages, services and trails have been inspected and certified. Our area with more than 700 kilometres of trails is one of the most beautiful destinations for walking holidays in the Alps. The Kaiserlodge Hotel is an ideal starting point for the exploration of the “Kaisergebirge” Nature Reserve.

In Harmony with Nature

Enjoy the natural scenery, clear your mind, leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and soak up unforgettable views. Set off on a walk with plenty of panoramic views, for example along “Energiewegrunde” trail or the “Sunrise Walk”.

Family and Adventure Walks

The walks will take you along narrow footpaths, over bridges and past waterfalls, giant trees, roaring torrents and other nature attractions.

Mountain Walks

Enjoy moderately difficult hikes in the mountains or challenging climbs to the summits. Once reaching the summit, you will be rewarded by spectacular views over the “Inntal” Valley and the mountains of the “Kitzbühler Alps” as far as to the Bavarian Alps. Our tips: “Summit Tour”, “Jubiläumssteig” via ferrata and "Hinauf zur Kaiserkrone" trail.
